Scott Micek is a tenured professor in the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy (UHSP) in St. Louis.  He currently serves as the director of the Center for Health Outcomes Research and Education and the Real-World Evidence/Outcomes Research Fellowship at UHSP.  He is a critical care clinical pharmacy specialist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where he is a practitioner on the interdisciplinary medical ICU team.

Dr. Micek earned his Pharm.D. degree from the University of Iowa and completed a pharmacy practice residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.  He previously was the supervisor of critical care clinical pharmacy specialists and director of PGY1 pharmacy practice and PGY2 critical care residency programs at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
